Desperately clinging to summer
Still dreaming of summer break! |
if only by way of wild trousers.
This is my nth pair of loud pants for this week. Someone asked, "Feelin' groovy?" Mmmm, yeah!
How are you feeling?
For the ultimate feel-good song, check out Simon & Garfunkel's "Feelin' Groovy" below. They were already retro when I got to know their exquisite harmonies, passed down from friends' older siblings.
Desperately clinging doesn't describe it - more like willing an Indian summer against all the odds - Summer here has been such a let down but I've also been working the loud trousers as much as possible! They are fun!
ReplyDeleteLoud trousers always cheer me up ! :) I didn't think I knew "Feeling Groovy" but on playing the clip, it sounds vaguely familiar. I knew their "Trains and Boats and Planes" At least I think it was them (Oh dear, I'm showing my ignorance here) :)
ReplyDeleteFun and chic ensemble. Lovely photo!
ReplyDeleteYou know that I love hippy style so am definitely adoring this outfit!!!

ReplyDeleteThere's definitely something spirit-uplifting about wild trousers! I'm glad to hear you are still clinging on to summer. I'm living in hope of an entire day with no rain - that would be a novelty!
