BOWLED OVER

Chaplin. Magritte. Monty Python's "Ministry of Silly Walks." (Thank you to blogger Vanessa - Take Only Memories for reminding me of this last connection.)  Even Mary Poppins' Mr. George Banks.

All conniving to drive this Foolish Aesthete to her bowler hat.  Rather, her husband's bowler.

(These pictures have been sitting on my computer for weeks.  They just got postponed due to all my summer travels.)

As you can see, I enjoy not taking myself too seriously.

  7. I LOVE the tux on you! I think the interior lining is a cute detail as well as the bow tie. I've really become obsessed with bowties on girls. Such an unexpected piece. I'm presently looking for a few to call my own that I can hopefully mix into my everyday outfits come fall.

  14. These pictures and this outfit are FANTASTIC. And I just realized except for the coat and the umbrella I have everything necessary for this look. mmh. Time to confuse my colleagues again. ;-)

Thanks for stopping by and your nice comment. Have a great new week.

  15. Thanks, All!
@Sigrid, Misty Copeland was the most famous of the dancers I had class with. There were some others whose names I didn't know, like a Cuban guy doing quadruple turns, etc. whom I'm sure belongs to a pro dance company. The dance teachers themselves are terrific and well known in the Ballet world. Enjoy NYC!
