PULP FASHION

Inspiration is everywhere!  The "Pulp Fashion" exhibit at the Legion of Honor was jaw dropping.  Isabelle de Borchgrave is a master at trompe l'oeil on paper.

I was very bummed not to be allowed to take photographs at the exhibit.  So here are some of the Museum's own photos.

Everything you see is made of paper. (Even the mannequins were papier mache, it seems.) We were amazed at how she created "lace" using lens paper for a thin, filmy effect.

If you're in San Francisco, this is a must-see!
