MOROCCO

My post last weekend got me sifting through our Moroccan treasures (well, treasures to me anyway).

Jewelry, scarves and chair

The Berber jewelry makes a seasonal appearance in my wardrobe.  Since that trip many years ago, the necklaces have become summer staples.  I only took out a few for these pictures.

The colors I saw in Morocco -- dusk in the Atlas Mountains, sunset at the edge of the desert, tiles in Fez, the souks of Marrakech -- are indescribable.  I won't even try.

So just a quick mid-week post.  For now, I hope you get a little glimpse of what captivated me (and countless others) in Morocco.

  18. Beautiful photographs and I adore the colors. I've not been to Morocco (the husband has), just Tunisia and Egypt - some of the souks in Tunisia remind me of these shots. I do have some jewelry I collected from the area which is dear to me.
