GIRL IN THE PLASTIC BUBBLE

Our construction site was wrapped in plastic for a few days. It's strange going from room to room wrapped in a plastic bubble.  Perhaps this is how Glinda the Good Witch of the North felt?  Of course, her bubble offered a clear view of the world.

*Note to Harry Potter fans:  Before J.K. Rowling, the Wizard of Oz dictated our perception of witches ;-)

Good thing the crew left us some "port holes" to see the outside world with.  Yes, I can be like Glinda!

Of course, Glinda wouldn't be caught dead with her fairy dress on backwards.  Mine is.  Old ballerina trick.  We spend our time with cover-ups backwards and forwards.  Perhaps because we value flexibility above all?  Ha ha, just sneaking a pun in ;-)

I live in these draped-front t-shirt dresses all summer.  Somehow, they all end up on me the wrong way around.  I guess I'm just not a deep decolletage kind of girl.  Unlike Glinda.

Do any of you put your clothes on backwards or inside out?

  2. Sometimes I can't tell it a shirt is inside out especially when it has the stitch, you know that it-looks-like-it's-inside-out-when-it's-really right-side-out stitch.
    Confusing!

  3. @Mariel, today I really should have been in construction boots. Nails and wood splinters were all over :-)
@S&O, I know exactly what you mean about the "stitch". I even have items that are intentionally de-constructed, with unraveled edges at the seams!

  16. Great shoot - the construction site gives everything an almost ethereal quality! Love the dress on you. I have one I wear back to front as well (not a huge fun of a deep cleavage either).

  18. I've actually rocked a backwards shirt from H&M once! It was a little too low cut in the front for my taste, so flipped around it went! This dress looks awesome - and what a cool backdrop for photos! :)
