ELIZABETH TAYLOR

Elizabeth Taylor (1932-2011)

By any standard, Elizabeth Taylor was a glamorous beauty, even as a youth in National Velvet.   But her depth as an actress was inspiring.  I loved her in feisty roles against Richard Burton -- like Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf and Taming of the Shrew.  Not your typical heroine, but just perfect for the Foolish Aesthete!  Let's face it, on the superficial side, I still try to do my eyes the Liz way.
